In 2000, The Healthy Caregiver Community Foundation commissioned a 10-year research study of America’s Women Veterans. This 10-year study examines the challenges, opportunities and barriers facing America’s Women Veterans as they transition from military service to civilian life. In support of this long-term study, The Foundation has established external relationships and programming to support women veterans and to research the emerging trends of care giving in the families of America’s women veterans.
The Healthy Caregiver Community Foundation currently sponsors:
- Women Veterans ROCK! Advocacy Campaign
- Woman Veteran Honoree of the Year
- Women Veterans ROCK! Rally and Veterans Day Celebration
- Women Veterans ROCK! Summer Retreat
- Women Veterans ROCK! National Affiliate Network
- Women Veterans Civic Leadership Institute (2015)
