About YOakleyPR

Everything you do or say is public relations. — Anonymous

In 2012, Yasheaka Oakley Owens launched YOakleyPR, a boutique public relations firm that empowers 501(c)(3) charitable organizations and small businesses with public relations, social media, and online marketing support services.

Our mission is simple: To make public relations an asset for your team, not a problem. We are dedicated to empowering smaller organizations with the tools they need to increase public awareness of programs and initiatives, engage potential donors or constituents using traditional and digital media relations, and earn media placements on the local, regional, and national levels while respecting budget limitations and deadlines.

As your public relations partner, when your business grows, ours will grow with you. Therefore, our team will work hand-in-hand with your team to support your growth by setting objectives and creating a long-term plan that identifies strategies and campaign benchmarks for performance. Yasheaka Oakley Owens and the YOakleyPR team help nonprofits build relationships with industry and community influencers that can increase online engagement, build social communities, and earn media placements on the local, regional, and national levels while respecting budget limitations and deadlines.

Our team offers a variety of virtual support services, including: public relations writing, email marketing, social media account management, online content distribution, online content writing, as well as support identifying media professionals for interviews and media placements.

Allow our team to provide you with the individual attention you need to make your project a success. When you choose YOakleyPR, you can rest assured that you’re not only receiving public relations support, but an advisor, assistant, and friend. We offer a variety long-term service packages that are well-suited to organizations looking to outsource their daily, monthly, or annual public relations, social media, and online marketing activities.

YOakleyPR’s focus on the nonprofit community permits us to foster collaborations between our network of corporations and nonprofit clients in order to help our clients achieve philanthropic and strategic goals that support their missions.
